Trends and Choices: The Future According to GroupWise Users
In the spring of 2010, Osterman Research conducted a survey among 700
IT professionals in mid-sized and large organizations as well as Novell
partners. The survey was designed to provide insights and guidance to
organizations and integrators who are faced with many questions about
the future of Novell GroupWise and whether an email platform migration
should be a priority.
Results of the research demonstrate that while GroupWise continues to
be perceived as a price competitive, robust and secure messaging
platform, there are other factors that are prompting organizations to
consider an email migration.
In this presentation, Osterman Research and Messaging Architects
discussed the survey findings in more detail and offered suggestions for
strategies to keep things running smoothly, independent of the chosen
Email platform.
