Meet the GroupWise Gurus
The Colonel: Morris Blackham has been supporting GroupWise since 1990 where he started with WordPerfect Corporation as a member of the WordPerfect Office “SWAT” team. He was at Novell for 8 years as a GWIA QA engineer and CPR Development Manager for GroupWise. He likes to play with explosives when he isn’t tinkering with M+Guardian and M+Netmail in his role as a Development Manager for Messaging Architects.
The Mentor: Jeff Dalby has been in the email industry for over 12 years. In 2001, Jeff went to work for Novell and became the Mentor for the NetMail and GroupWise product lines. Jeff left Novell in March of 2007 to assist Messaging Architects create a team of top notch support engineers. He once beat an email server to death with an aluminum baseball bat, but in his current role as VP of IT, he mentors a lively team of support engineers.
The Thinker: Roland Gaspar has been working with Novell GroupWise for over 10 years. He joined Messaging Architects in 2004 and has since worked on various projects such as the migration of the GroupWise system from Netware to Linux as well as the development of M+Guardian. He is a compulsive thinker and he likes to break things for the sheer joy of putting them back together again.
The Geek: Maximilian Morgan is a Product Manager at
Messaging Architects and has been working with email for over 10 years. A
technology geek through and through, Max loves to get his hands on the latest
toys. His current collection of toys includes a PS3, a portable flux capacitor, and a Hackintosh terminal to rule them all.
The Pirate: Greg Smith has been working in high tech for more than 20 years, predominantly with Novell Platinum integrators and consulting services. In his current position as Director of Professional Services for Messaging Architects, his project management, networking and messaging expertise assist Messaging Architects to understand client requirements and deploy fully-integrated solutions. On weekends, he likes to swashbuckle and talk like a pirate.
