Netmail Search

Netmail Search (part of Netmail Archive) now available

With an array of new capabilities and improved features, the latest release of Netmail Search offers you more efficient and cost-effective ways to search your data than ever before.

Advanced Search and Guided Navigation

Advanced search and guided navigation allows you to accurately refine your searches.

  • Apply any number of search terms to email messages, attachments, and audit files.
  • Create word lists and save them as templates for use in future cases.
  • Sort data based on contents in auditor's name, comments, tags, and more.

Case Management

Case management features allow you to create specific cases where searches can be saved and tracked.

  • Provides unique case management dashboard that lets you create, track, manage, and save multiple cases.
  • Allows users to simultaneously respond to any eDiscovery request without having to sift through all archived data each time an eDiscovery request is made.

Flexible Export Options

Netmail Search includes multiple flexible export options.

  • Export single or multiple archived items to PDF, searchable XML, or PST with the easy-to-use Export wizard.
  • Save the export files to file for printing or sending to external reviewers.

100% Email Message Retention in Exchange 2010 without Journaling

With Netmail, organizations can now guarantee 100% message retention in Exchange 2010 without relying on message journaling with the 100% Retention feature in Archive. Once selected, 100% Retention prevents any items in any Exchange mailbox, including the new Exchange Archive Mailbox and the Recoverable Items Folder (formerly known as the Dumpster) to be deleted. Even if Exchange is configured to purge items in the Recoverable Items Folder after 30 days, Archive prevents any item from being deleted from any mailbox until it has been successfully archived.

Single-Instance Storage for Email Attachments

The latest version of Netmail introduces Attachment Stripping which re-introduces a single-instance storage feature for attachments to Exchange 2010. Attachment Stripping allows administrators to search Exchange mailboxes for message attachments and remove or “strip” them from messages by replacing the attachment with an http link to a single copy of the document. Prevent the lack of single-instance storage in Exchange 2010 from ballooning your storage requirements and bloating your Exchange server by storing a single copy of the attachment in Netmail, no matter how many copies of the attachment were sent internally.

Easy Email Migrations  to Exchange 2010 or Office 365

With Netmail, you can now migrate to Exchange 2010 or Office 365 without migrating email attachments. Prevent the loss of valuable information during your migration to Exchange 2010 or Office 365 by removing message attachments from messages and replacing the attachment with an http link to the document. Netmail stores a single copy of the attachment, minimizing increased storage requirements in Exchange 2010.

Shortens the eDiscovery process

Netmail Search dramatically shortens the eDiscovery process, saving you time to focus on the other projects on your to-do list.

Search through millions of records in record time

Powerful 64-bit indexing technology provides sub-second searching capability through millions of records. Intuitive Case Management features allows your HR or Legal personnel to perform multiple searches based on different criteria, and export the results to rapidly respond to litigation or information requests. Together, these features reduce the time and cost involved in responding to an eDiscovery request, no matter its origin.

Reduce the bottleneck

Don't burden your IT team with time- and labor-intensive eDiscovery. Search simplifies and accelerates the process. Unlike other solutions, Search performs quickly and efficiently, and provides an intuitive workflow that just makes sense.

Be prepared for whatever the future holds

Netmail Archive works well in both GroupWise and Exchange environments, and provides user access to archives in a number of ways: GroupWise Client, GroupWise WebAccess, the Outlook Client, Outlook Web Access, and Outlook Web App. Upgrading to GroupWise 2012? Moving to Exchange or Office 365 in the future? Netmail Archive provides compatibility and migration capability to ensure that you are ready for any move.

Reduce Exchange storage requirements

Netmail Archive removes duplicate attachments across all Post Offices or Mailbox Servers for single instance storage. In an Exchange system with DAGs enabled, any duplicate copies of attachments are automatically removed through archiving, which can result in savings of over 30% in storage.

Never perform another back up

Netmail Archive integrates with Netmail Store, our leading-edge storage technology that is ideal for archived email and attachments. It is also highly scalable, and offers built-in replication for disaster recovery as well as self-healing and self-managing properties to remove the need to ever back up your archived data.
