M+NetMail supports Internet open standards to provide seamless messaging between M+NetMail and email clients that use these standards, such as GroupWise 5.x and higher, Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, Thuderbird, Eudora, Pegasus, Mulberry, PINE, and numerous other integrated or standalone email clients.

Redesigned WebMail Client Interface
Powered by modern AJAX technology, the completely redesigned M+NetMail client interface features enhanced responsiveness through increased interactivity, speed, and usability.
- Improved collaboration tools, such as a message preview window in the main M+NetMail window, the ability to double-click a message in the message list to open it, right-click functionality for many common tasks, an auto-save draft feature, and right-click functionality to proxy to another user.
- New contact management features include a Contacts folder containing address book items available from the main M+NetMail window, the ability to create groups within the address book, and the ability to select multiple users from the system address book to create groups.
- Enhanced calendaring includes a new streamlined look and feel, a Calendar quick view window available from the main M+NetMail window, and left-click functionality to drag and create a new appointment.
Mailing Lists and iCalendar Support
M+NetMail supports List Server Mailing Lists. M+NetMail also supports the iCalendar (iCal) protocol.
- Lets users send the same message to every user in a list of email addresses using List Server Mailing Lists.
- Allows users to broadcast messages to eDirectory users.
- Allows users to openly exchange calendaring and scheduling information, such as events, tasks, and notes, to other users over the Internet using an application that supports iCal.
Centralized Administration Console
The flexible and intuitive web-based Administration Console lets administrators manage the system from one central location on virtually any operating system for which there is an Internet-standard browser. The M+NetMail Administration Console has recently been enhanced to include the following new features:
- Allows administrators to easily configure and push down default settings to a large number of users.
- Lets administrators assign a Sent Items folder and a Drafts folder, create standardized signatures on outgoing email, and enable the immediate purge of deleted messages to free up server space.
Platform Independent
M+NetMail is a platform-independent solution that operates on all leading server platforms including NetWare 6.x and higher, Windows Server 2000 and 2003, and Linux SuSE 9.0 and higher.
