Messaging Architects’ Products Protect Zorgverzekeraars Nederland against Email Risks
Background
Zorgverzekeraars Nederland is a general trade union federation of companies that offer health insurances in The Netherlands. ZN’s main activity is to ensure that the working conditions for members of the health care industry are as optimal as possible. This mandate includes everything from support and facilitation of the members, information services and PR to lead negotiations and representation of members in agencies, such as the Health Insurance Governance and the Construction. Currently, 19 insurers are united and work together as Zorgverzekeraars Nederland to make sure good and accessible care is guaranteed in The Netherlands.
Eliminating Email Risks at ZN
Originally, Zorgverzekeraars Nederland needed a mobility solution for their GroupWise system. Their IT partner, TMD informatisering, brought Messaging Architects' products to their attention. Wim Timmer, Sales manager of TMD informatisering, one of Messaging Architects' tier-one business partners in The Netherlands, describes ZN's needs and requirements: “My client realized they needed to manage the risks associated with email, regardless of whether they were related to productivity, compliance, or security. While evaluating the mobility needs at ZN, I noticed their serious spam and virus issues, together with their need for an archiving solution. As we looked into the Messaging Architects' product portfolio, we came to the conclusion we could address all their needs to mitigate against email risks."
After an evaluation period of several weeks, ZN started implementing GWAnywhere and GWArchive. Jan van Veldhuijzen, IT coordinator at ZN, tells us about what made them purchase the products: “Because we were interested in three products, we received a very attractive price offering from Messaging Architects and TMD informatisering. The evaluation period showed us the benefits of the products and made us decide to purchase the whole spectrum of products."
Installation only took two days. TMD informatisering assisted with the installation and deployed the products with minimum issues. Jan van Veldhuijzen continues, "With GWAnywhere, we covered all devices and carriers. GWArchive makes it possible for the client to access information stored in GroupWise frequently, without taking the risk of losing data or corrupting its integrity. With the upcoming compliance consideration and security policies, we feel that we are completely covered to manage all risks associated with email."
Van Veldhuijzen concludes, "Next March we are upgrading to version 3.1 of GWArchive. The installation of GWGuardian will follow shortly after that. Since Messaging Architects' products have proved such a valuable experience for us so far, we are very curious about the benefits of GWGuardian."
