Hula is an open-source mail and calendar project originally sponsored by Novell to allow users to create software content through collaboration. It is derived from NetMail, and retains many of the architectural features of Netmail. Recently, Messaging Architects acquired Netmail and assumed leadership of the open source Hula Project from Novell, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to leveraging both proprietary and open source innovations to create reliable and stable solutions for our clients.
