M+Guardian Platforms
M+Guardian email security appliances deliver industry-leading anti-virus and anti-spam technologies, reputation and content filtering to manage inbound and outbound content, and attachment blocking. Now available in either a physical or virtual appliance form factor, M+Guardian protects email against today's malicious threats, reduces the risks associated with data leakage, and simplifies how organizations protect valuable enterprise assets.
M+Guardian is available for a variety of deployments for maximum deployment flexibility:
- Hardware appliance: The M+Guardian Extreme Email Firewall is available in two models: the RFM1000 and RFM100. The M+Guardian Extreme Email Firewall is an easy-to-deploy, hardened appliance available for both large enterprises (RFM1000) and mid-tier enterprises (RFM100). It combines a robust, enterprise-class MTA with perimeter security, anti-spam, anti-virus and outbound content security capabilities in an easy-to-deploy, pre-configured appliance.
- Virtual appliance: The M+Guardian Virtual Messaging Firewall (VMF) delivers the same email security and data loss prevention features as the M+Guardian hardware appliances in an easy-to-deploy virtual appliance for VMware’s virtualization products. The M+Guardian Virtual Messaging Firewall (VMF) is a fully configured software appliance that can be deployed on any x86 hardware. Using VMware’s products like VMware Server and VMware Infrastructure (VMware ESX 3.0 or higher), organizations can now deploy M+Guardian as needed.
Top Benefits of Virtualization
Cost Savings: Identifies under-utilized servers and consolidates them on to less hardware so that organizations may recognize substantial cost savings.
Rapid Deployment: Allows organizations to deploy new products and services in minutes by simply loading a single large file into your VMware environment.
Reduced Space Requirements: Reduces the number of servers and related IT hardware required by the organization.
Energy Efficient: By reducing power consumption and cooling requirements, virtualization is the eco-friendly option for organizations wanting to reduce their carbon footprint.
Platform Flexibility: Organizations have the flexibility to choose and use their own standard hardware, including IBM, Dell, HP, or any other hardware.
High Availability: With virtualization, organizations benefit from the high availability of resources and reduced downtime as virtual images can be easily restored after a failure and can be migrated from one physical device to another to maintain availability during maintenance.
Business Continuity: Easier software migration, system backup and recovery ensures business continuity.
Improved Disaster Recovery (DR): With virtualization, organizations can easily perform system backups, so that IT does not need to create physical duplicates of every piece of hardware for DR purposes.
Scalability: Allows IT infrastructures to remain flexible and scalable to support, manage, and secure expanded functionality as applications increase.
