Messaging Architects Announces the release of m+netmail 3.6
Montreal, Canada – February 6, 2008 - Messaging Architects, the leader in risk management software and services for enterprise email, announced today the release of M+NetMail 3.6. M+NetMail is a powerful, multi-featured messaging system that offers organizations a scalable communication infrastructure to keep them in step with their growing business. This is the first major release of the light-weight collaboration system since Messaging Architects acquired NetMail from Novell in early 2007. Over the past 12 months, the product has undergone a major transformation in its architecture to become part of Messaging Architects’ integrated application M+ Platform for Risk Free Email, which also includes M+Guardian and M+Archive. To reflect its tight integration with the M+ Security and Compliance Platform, the new version is being released as M+NetMail 3.6.
M+Netmail is platform-independent and operates on all leading server platforms, including Windows, Linux SuSE, and NetWare. It is also highly interoperable, supporting Internet open standards to provide seamless messaging between M+NetMail and email clients that use these standards, such as GroupWise, Outlook and Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Eudora, Pegasus, Mulberry, PINE, and other integrated or stand-alone email clients. M+NetMail supports PDA synchronization for a variety of handheld devices and the iCalendar protocol (iCal) to allow users to exchange calendaring and scheduling information over the Internet.
M+NetMail 3.6 features over 100 enhancements based on user feedback, including a completely redesigned Webmail interface, improved collaboration tools, new contact management features, and enhanced calendaring. Through the use of modern AJAX technology, M+NetMail offers superior responsiveness and advanced usability, making it a powerful, multi-featured, easy-to-use messaging software accessible via any web browser.
