Pierre Chamberland, Founder and Chief Energizing Officer
After a fast-track career with technology giant Philips Electronics and a venture-funded startup called Cyrix Semiconductors, I embarked on a mission which led me to create the ultimate platform for Integrated Email Management—Netmail. A relentless architect of Human Capital, I have a passion for growing our people to their fullest potential. I make sure we check our egos at the door, work as a team, and live by a simple manifesto. At Messaging Architects, we strive to combine software, knowledge, and services in a remarkable way—one that positively changes the lives of our clients.
Frederic Bourget, President and Chief Operating Officer
A fully confirmed geek, my entire career experience has been in the IT field. After graduating with a B.Eng in Physics from Quebec’s Laval University, I went to work for several large technology companies—Matrox and Marconi—and a small startup called Octasic. I met Pierre in the early days of Messaging Architects, and for the next 9 years he tried to recruit me on his mission to build great products and an even greater company. I finally joined in 2009, and today I manage the day-to-day operations of our great company in addition to owning our Products and Professional Services. At Messaging Architects, I try to channel the passion of my co-workers and shareholders in ways that dramatically improve the lives of our clients through focused innovation.
Maximilian Morgan, Chief Information Officer
I joined Messaging Architects in July of 2002, still a student at McGill University and with my technology experience on par with my knowledge of agriculture. Having grown up on a farm just south of Montreal, this meant I was equally at home harvesting crops or log outputs. Over the next ten years I have traveled physically and virtually around the world of technology advocating a better way to use email. During this time listening and learning that great technology isn't just about the "wares"—it's about the people that develop, support and use them. The simplest software can have a million dollar impact and a million dollar software can live its life out on a shelf.
Nick Stefan, Vice President, Research & Development
A software developer at heart, soon after graduation I decided to reboot my life and further my career overseas. Canada seemed like the right destination. A MSc. Computer Science degree from Concordia University and a few exciting years with a computer telephony startup later, I met Pierre and embarked on a quest to build a great engineering team and a strong product portfolio. I feel privileged to work with amazingly talented people at Messaging Architects and I am passionately committed to providing our customer base with unconditional satisfaction.
Andre Thauvette, Vice President, Finance
I graduated from HEC in Montreal with a BAA and spent 7 years as a CA in one of the country's best audit firms. After that, I went to work for a number of small to mid-sized companies in different industries as a Controller, Accounting or Finance Manager. A deeply-convicted team player with years of experience, in 2008 I joined Messaging Architects--an ambitious small player with great potential in the big world of email management.
