Pierre Chamberland, CEO
Before founding the Messaging Architects, Pierre worked as a Director of Product Management for Philips and was the President of ChronoFax. ChronoFax became Messaging Architects in 2001 to better reflect its mission of helping GroupWise users leverage and extend the investment in their Messaging & Collaboration systems.
Frederic Bourget, COO
Fred joined Messaging Architects as VP of Technology & Solutions and is responsible for products, service definition and delivery. With over fourteen years experience in the communications field, Fred was the Director of Product Management with Octasic, a provider of software, DSP and modular media processing solutions for media gateways and basestations prior to joining Messaging Architects. Fred has a B.Eng in Physics from Quebec's Laval University and has contributed to ITU-T and ATIS standards on signal processing and optical communications. His papers have been published by industry-leading technical publications.
Jeff Dalby, Chief Information Officer, Vice President Support & Training Services
Jeff Dalby has been in the email industry for over 12 years. He began working with email systems in 1996 at Brigham Young University. In 2000, he went on to administer a 2000+ user GroupWise system for a mid-sized mortgage company. In 2001, Jeff went to work for Novell and became the Mentor for the NetMail and GroupWise product lines. After working as the Mentor he became a PSE for Novell. Jeff left Novell in March of 2007 to assist Messaging Architects create a team of top notch support engineers.
Nick Stefan, VP Research & Development
Nick worked as a programmer in his native Romania before immigrating
to Canada. He directs all aspects of product development and is
tireless in his efforts to discover, create or invent innovative
messaging technology. Nick has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a
Master's in Computer Science from Montreal's Concordia University.
Advisory Board
Pierre T. Allard
Pierre leads the taxation group and co-leads the wealth protection group for BCF (www.bcf.ca), one of Quebec’s most active law firms in the fields of Intellectual Property and Information Technology. He is also a member of BCF's Executive Committee and sits on the Board of Directors. Pierre teaches tax and estate planning courses to MBA students at the Université de Montréal and is a graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke Law Faculty, where was awarded the Albert Leblanc Medal of Achievement.
Don Chapman
Don retired as President of Novell Canada at the end of 2006. Under his leadership, Novell Canada achieved significant growth in the areas of Services, Identity Management and Linux. Don was also an active participant on the Board of Directors for the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) for 5 years. Prior to joining Novell, Don spent 30 years in the Canadian high-technology industry in various executive positions with Corporate Software, Computer Innovations, and Remanco Systems (now part of Infor).
Steven Chu
Steven is the COO at Toon Boom Animation (www.toonboom.com), a worldwide leader in animation software solutions and consulting services. Before this, Steven was an Executive Vice President over all of Philips Electronics Ltd. Television Business Unit for the Asia-Pacific region. Steven worked within various divisions for Philips for 18 years, with postings in Montreal, The Netherlands, China and Singapore. Steven attended McGill University where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Les Rubenovitch
Les Rubenovitch is the Founder and President of Winning Edge Consultants (www.wecinc.ca) a management consulting company that specializes in helping high-growth companies with strategic planning, executive coaching, and operational leadership. Les brings more than 25 years of sales, marketing, operations and management experience to Messaging Architects. Prior to Winning Edge, Rubenovitch held executive marketing positions with ASAP (now part of Dell) one of the largest software-licensing companies in the world and IBM.
