Sr. Technical Consultant - Professional Services

We are seeking a senior technical resource for the Professional Services group to be responsible for the deployment and support of Messaging Architects software products as well as other technical and consulting services relative to messaging and messaging services.  The resource must be independent but able to function in a team.  The candidate must be able to work remotely, adopt flexible hours when necessary and travel up to 2 weeks a month.

Main responsibilities:

• Providing Onsite and Remote consulting, implementation and support services
• Team lead responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects through technical implementation services, customer and project management and support
• Provide advanced technical consulting services
• Provide Project documentation and training

Secondary responsibilities:

• Assist internal Groups including Development, Product Management and Support with respect to issues, feedback, testing and troubleshooting
• Assist in statistical collection and presentation
• Provide assistance to sales when required for project assessment and effort analysis
• Update technical documents and procedural documents

• GroupWise OR Exchange Email Messaging Experience
• MCP Unified Communications certification
• Design & implement MS Exchange systems
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Consulting and/or Customer Communication Skills
• Documentation skills

• Knowledge of email archiving work would be an asset
• Knowledge of Blackberry would be an asset
• Project Management and time management skills
