Change is Sweet
Hello Everyone!
According to Aristotle, “Change in all things is sweet.” At Messaging Architects, our offices have been full of change lately! You may have noticed that something is slightly different on our website — we’ve renamed our products. Our new names are the first step toward a unified user interface to make our solutions even easier to use. Get the scoop on our new names from Debbie’s blog We know that you have been experiencing change too, like changing email systems and accommodating new legislation. Change is definitely in the air this spring; that’s why we decided to devote this newsletter to change. It’s all around us, and Aristotle was right, change is sweet. Charles Nguyen Editor, Messaging Architects P.S. Has Messaging Architects helped initiate change in your organization? Tell us more and you could be featured in an upcoming newsletter. Email me at charlesn@netmail.com.
New Release: Alleviate Your PST Headaches
We’d like to introduce the newest member of the Netmail family: Netmail PST Radar, a tool designed to alleviate the headaches caused by PST files. With Netmail PST Radar, you can detect and centrally manage PST files, choosing to archive them and more.
Changing Email Systems with Netmail Content Archiver
Read our latest case study to learn how Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital deployed Netmail Content Archiver to successfully migrate from GroupWise to Exchange. For CVPH, the value of Netmail Content Archiver was clear: the hospital quickly realized that unlike other migration tools, Netmail Content Archiver was an enterprise-level email archiving solution that they could continue to use after the migration was complete.
FIPPA: Big Changes for Ontario Hospitals
The introduction of the Freedom of Information and the Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) to the hospital sector will have many implications on how Ontario healthcare organizations communicate electronically. Hospitals will have to implement new procedures to meet the requirements of FIPPA. The new legislation will retroactively apply to all electronic records in the custody, or under the control, of a hospital after January 1, 2007. For more information, check out our new FIPPA whitepaper. It explains the implications of FIPPA legislation on a hospital’s electronic records.
Finally, A Place to Talk About Email
Over the past few years, Social Media has become the new way to communicate. Messaging Architects noticed this trend, and we wanted to create a distinct online space for discussion about email migrations, handling PST files, and other topics related to email management. That’s why we created Netmail Community. The goal of Netmail Community is conversation. It’s the place to talk about email.
